KANSAS CITY, MO: SAVE, Inc. is proud to announce that Courtney Meyer (She / Her / Hers) has recently joined the SAVE, Inc. Board of Directors.
Courtney Meyer is an Employment Specialist for Mid-Continent Public Library. In Meyer’s role, she manages employee opportunity management, recruiting and employment process management. Meyer specializes in facilitation training and development, relationship building and volunteer engagement. Meyer has a 17-year background with nonprofit organizations, primarily with the YMCA of Greater Kansas City prior to her current position. She has specific interest in and experience in leading diversity and inclusion efforts and strategic planning.
Meyer has been involved as a supporter, advocate and contributor to SAVE, Inc. in recent years and has become passionate for our work. “I love what SAVE, Inc. stands for. I would be honored to have a seat with an organization that strengthens and supports members of a city I love.” Meyer’s passion for SAVE and Kansas City only strengthens her resolve for change: “I believe we can get to a world free of homelessness and discrimination in housing but we need organizations like SAVE, Inc. to get there.
She serves on the Membership Committee of NonProfit Connect and the Lakeview Estates Home Owner’s Association Finance Committee. In her free time, Meyer enjoys exploring Kansas City with her partner Edward and their family. You’re likely to find her at an amusement park or successfully breaking out of an escape room with a 95% escape rate.
