Donation Drives

it’s about community.

SAVE, Inc. believes in partnerships and none are more important than those we have with our community partners to hold drives throughout the year. We hold a variety of drives encouraging donations for our residents, clients and youth and would love for you to get involved!

How it Works: You become a drive location, we do the rest. No really, we do. If your business becomes a drive location, that means you agree to post signage in your business promoting the drive and you keep a donation bin in a prominent place in your business! For two weeks, we’ll promote YOUR business as a partner location and encourage our supporters to stop by with a donation. We provide the bin, signage and will even send you some information to use in your promotion!

We’ve also teamed up with businesses for more one-time events. You can open up your business for just one evening and we can make it the biggest donation party in KC. We’ve had many fun themes and would love to work with you to create a fun event that’s a win-win for both you and us!

Our Welcome Home Supply Drive, held at the end of January each year, collects donations of kitchen, hygiene and cleaning supplies for our Welcome Home buckets. Each new SAVE, Inc. client receives a bucket when moving into a home of their very own.

Our Pride Haven Gift Card drive collects donations of gift cards for fast food restaurants and convenience stores. These gift cards are used by our Pride Haven youth in order to them to still have a meal when Pride Haven is closed during the day.

Our Winter Necessities Drive collects donations of NEW winter hats, gloves, scarves, socks and coats. These donations are distributed to SAVE, Inc. clients, youth and those in the homeless community to stay warm during frigid KC winters.
